Circulation Policy

All Winthrop employees may borrow from the library. All you need to do is register at the circulation desk. If you are a resident or a student, please bring the papers you received from the Academic Affairs office. Note that you must sign out when your term is over. All materials must be returned and fines paid before you may sign out from the hospital.

Smartphone chargers are also available for 2-hour in-library checkout.  There is a $1.00 charge per minute, for late returns.

You may have six items checked out at any given time.

Reference (books whose call number begins with REF), reserve materials, computer applications (Microsoft, Adobe, EndNote), and journals (except for Clinics) do not circulate.

If you wish to renew an item, there's no need to bring it to the library; just stop in, call 663-2802, or renew online in the library catalog. The fine for overdue items is $.20 per day, counted from the date the item was due.
